(Individual bookings, groups of fewer than 6 persons)
1. Scope of Application
These terms apply to the booking and use of accommodation and other services provided by Camp FinLake. The terms are binding for both parties from the moment the customer has made a reservation and it has been confirmed.
The person making the reservation must be at least 18 years old and legally competent.
These terms do not apply to group bookings (more than 6 persons), which are subject to separate group booking terms.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Reservations can be made by phone, email, or via the online booking system on Camp FinLake’s website.
A reservation is considered confirmed once Camp FinLake has sent a written confirmation by email.
3. Payment Terms
Payment can be made either:
- On site (cash or MobilePay), or
- By invoice, if agreed in advance
The payment term for invoices is 7 days unless otherwise agreed. Camp FinLake reserves the right to cancel the reservation without further notice if the invoice is not paid by the due date.
Camp FinLake reserves the right to require an advance payment to confirm the reservation.
4. Check-in and Check-out
Accommodation is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 noon on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
If arrival is after 6:00 PM, guests must inform Camp FinLake in advance.
5. Cancellation and No-show Policy
Cancellations must be made by phone or email by the person who made the reservation. A cancellation is considered valid once it has been received by Camp FinLake.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Cancellation is free of charge if made at least 2 days before arrival by 3:00 PM
- For later cancellations or no-shows, Camp FinLake will charge one (1) night’s accommodation plus any booked additional services
6. Camp FinLake’s Right to Cancel
Camp FinLake reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to force majeure. This includes events such as natural phenomena, official regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Camp FinLake’s control.
In such cases, any payments made in advance will be refunded in full. The customer is not entitled to any further compensation.
7. Use of Accommodation and House Rules
Guests must use the accommodation responsibly and follow general rules of conduct.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Camp FinLake reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without refund if the guest causes disturbance, endangers safety, or seriously violates these terms.
8. Cleanliness
Guests are required to leave the accommodation in a reasonably clean condition reflecting normal use.
Camp FinLake reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if the accommodation is left in an exceptionally dirty condition.
9. Pets
Pets are allowed only in designated cabins (Helmut and Emma cabins).
Pets must be announced in advance. A fee of €10 per pet / cabin / stay applies.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets and for maintaining cleanliness.
10. Damages and Liability
Guests are liable for any damage they cause to Camp FinLake or its property.
Camp FinLake is not responsible for guests’ personal belongings or for any loss or damage. Guests are advised to have appropriate insurance.
11. Applicable Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Finnish law.
Any disputes will primarily be resolved through mutual negotiations. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be settled in the Pirkanmaa District Court.
